Call for Poster Abstracts: Shelter Animal Medicine & Care
The Midwest Veterinary Conference (MVC) invites abstracts for posters to be exhibited during its annual conference in Columbus, Ohio to be held Feb. 21-24, 2013. All veterinarians, shelter medicine graduate students (present and former), and veterinary students interested in presenting current, relevant, and exciting information regarding shelter medicine are encouraged to participate.
All abstracts meeting the criteria outlined below will be published in the conference proceedings and posters will be displayed in a designated area of the exhibit hall. The Association of Shelter Veterinarians (ASV) will review all proposals and select four to give a 30 minute oral presentation in the Shelter Animal Medicine and Care lecture track.
No travel expenses will be reimbursed by the conference for poster authors or presenters; however, all poster authors will receive complimentary Conference registration. The four chosen to present also receive a $150 honorarium each.
