With the continued support of Ross University, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association is pleased to announce the return of the Veterinary Exploration Conference and College Fair. This full-day educational experience stands alone in its effort to expose students to the diverse career offerings in veterinary medicine. Each year, this program answers countless questions students have about pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
Registration for this program is open to high school juniors and seniors and undergraduate students only. The $10 per-person fee associated with registration includes all program materials and lunch.
For the first time in 2012, a Parent Workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. This meeting will give participants valuable information on how to support a child who has expressed interest in a career in veterinary medicine. Topics covered will include information on the veterinarian’s role in today’s world and careers within veterinary medicine to financial aid options for veterinary school. The $20 per-parent fee includes all program materials and lunch.
If you have any questions, please contact the VEC event coordinator Mia Cunningham.
