Search for Midwest Veterinary Conference in your device's app store and download it to your device, or tap the appropriate button below.

After downloading, open the app, search for Midwest Veterinary Conference, and tap on 2024 Midwest Veterinary Conference to download the event content.

No, you do not need to download a new app. Simply update the app by adding this year's event content.

You will automatically be prompted to log in the first time you open the app. Simply enter your name and the email address you registered with, check your email/text messages* for a verification code, and enter the code on the screen.

*If you provided your cell phone number during registration.

If for some reason you are not prompted or you skipped logging in, refer to the instructions below.

In the Mobile App

  • On the home page, tap the icon with three horizontal lines on the bottom right corner of the screen.
  • Tap the Log In button and enter your name and email address, then tap the arrow button. Be sure to use the address you registered with!
  • You will receive an email and/or text message (if you provided a cell number during registration).
  • Note: If you do not receive the code within a couple of minutes, you may have entered the wrong email address. Return to the previous page and try again.
  • Enter the six-digit verification code provided and tap the arrow button to finish logging in.
  • After 24 hours of idle time, you will be prompted to enter another verification code the next time you log in.

On the Website

  • When prompted, enter your first/last names and email address, then tap the Next button. Be sure to use the address you registered with!
  • You will receive an email and/or text message (if you provided a cell number during registration).
  • Note: If you do not receive the code within a couple of minutes, you may have entered the wrong email address. Return to the previous page and try again.
  • Enter the six-digit verification code provided and tap the arrow button to finish logging in.
  • After 24 hours of idle time, you will be prompted to enter another verification code the next time you log in.

First try checking your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, please contact us or, if you are at the MVC, stop by the Help Desk.

If you receive a "Too many failed login attempts" error while attempting to log in, it means you have unsuccessfully entered your verification code 10 times and your login access has been revoked. Please contact us to restore your access or, if you are at the MVC, stop by the Help Desk.

You will automatically be prompted to set up your profile the first time you open the app, but if you want to come back to it later, follow the steps below.

In the Mobile App

  • Tap on the user icon in the bottom bar.
  • To edit your profile, tap View Profile under your name, then tap the pencil icon in the top right corner.
  • By default, your profile is hidden from other attendees. To allow other attendees to find and connect with you, tap Visible.
  • Upload a photo if desired, make your edits, and tap Save.

On the Website

  • Hover over the user icon in the top right corner, then click on View profile.
  • By default, your profile is hidden from other attendees. To allow other attendees to find and connect with you, click the radio button next to Visible.
  • Click the pencil icon next to each section to make changes. You can upload a photo if desired.
  • Click the checkmark in the top right corner of the edit box to save your changes. Click the X to cancel.

Only other registrants can view your profile, provided you make it visible. The only information they can see is what you can see. Your contact information is never shared.

Sessions & Events

Yes. If you selected sessions during registration, they will appear on your schedule in the mobile app.

Creating a schedule will update your registration, so you have an accurate record of the sessions you attended should you need it for license renewal or if you are ever audited by your state licensing board. It also allows you to submit feedback for the sessions you attend.

IMPORTANT: You must add/remove sessions to/from your schedule BEFORE its end time. The app will not allow you to change a session or event that has already passed.

Note: Can't find a session that's listed in the program? Check the updates page to see if the session changed. If not, please contact us to let us know which session(s) are missing.

In the Mobile App

After logging in, tap the calendar icon in the bottom bar to open the event schedule. Under the "All Sessions" tab, tap the plus sign next to any session to add it to your agenda. Tap the checkmark to un-register yourself.

On the Website

After logging in, click on "Schedule" in the top blue bar, then on "All Sessions." Click the "Add" button next to the session(s) you would like to add to your schedule or "Remove" to un-register yourself.

You may not be able to edit your session selections in the following circumstances:

  • The session has ended. To maintain accurate registration and participation data, attendees cannot remove a session from their schedule once its end date and time has passed.
  • The session is part of a track. The software treats complete tracks as a "package deal." If you registered for complete tracks during registration (rather than individual sessions), you will not be able to remove them from the mobile app. You can only remove tracks by logging in and modifying your original registration. For step-by-step instructions, please refer to the Changes, Cancellations & Transfer FAQs.
  • The event is full. For events that have a set capacity, you will not be able to add it to your schedule if that capacity has been reached.
  • The event requires an additional fee. You cannot register for a lab within the app or Attendee Hub website. Please see your confirmation email for instructions on modifying your registration.
  • Registration type doesn't match. Some sessions/events are only open to certain attendees. For example, non-OVMA members cannot register for a members-only event.

In order to view attached documents, you must be registered for the session (i.e., it appears on your schedule). Once you have added the session, follow these steps:

  • Open the session and scroll down to the speaker section.
  • All documents they provided for that particular session will be listed in the "Attachments" section. Simply tap to open and view/download the files.
Session notes

This could be due to either of the following:

  • If no attachments are listed on the session page: The speaker did not provide documents for the session you're viewing, or
  • If attachments are listed, but you cannot tap on/open them: You are not registered for the session. Simply add the session to your schedule prior to the end date/time to view accompanying documents.

Networking & Privacy

The attendee list is the networking portal on the MVC Mobile App and Virtual Platform. From the list, you can see who else is attending the event and view their profiles*. You can also browse colleagues whose interests are similar to yours, based on the sessions you've both registered for.

*If they opted to make their profile public.

  • Tap on the user icon in the bottom bar.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap Privacy.
  • Toggle the button to your desired preference.

  • Toggle the button to your desired preference.
Notifications

Please note, only visible attendees can receive messages, but hidden attendees can still initiate messages. The app does not share your contact information.

In the Mobile App

  • From the home page, tap the Attendee Networking quick link underneath the MVC logo. (You may have to scroll left or right to find it.)
  • On the attendee list, you can tap the magnifying glass icon to search for a specific name or company, or tap the up/down arrows to filter by name, company, or job title.
  • Tap the speech bubble in the attendee's profile to send them a message, or tap "Connect" to request to add them to your network.
  • You can view attendees you've connected with and respond to requests via your Profile under the Connections tab.

On the Website

  • Hover over the Community tab in the top navigation bar, then click on "Attendees."
  • On the attendee list, type in the search bar to find a specific person, or scroll to browse the entire list. You can sort by name, company, or job title by clicking the drop-down menu on the right.
  • Hover over an attendee, then:
    • Click the "Connect" button to send a request to add them to your network
    • Click the three dots to either send them a message or view their profile
  • You can view attendees you've connected with and respond to requests via your Profile under the Connections tab.

This feature is for cross-event networking. If you have connected with someone at one event, you'll be able to see if they are in attendance at another event, provided they use the same email in their registration.

Discussion boards are text-based "chat rooms" where attendees can converse with one another on various topics. To view the available discussion boards, tap the Community icon in the bottom bar, then scroll to the discussion section. Simply find one that interests you, tap on it, and type in your message! You can also tap the image icon to take a new photo or upload one from your library.

Mobile App Game

The Mobile App Game is a fun, in-app competition wherein attendees complete challenges to earn points. The top point earners at the end of the live MVC will win a prize!

After logging in to the app, tap on the game icon on the home screen and then tap on Join Game. You will earn points only while the game is live (Feb. 22–24). Some actions you take in the app will earn you automatic points (such as opening session documents or viewing an exhibitor), while others will require you to complete an action (such as scanning a QR code in an exhibitor's booth). As you earn points, you will earn badges and climb the leaderboard. The highest point earners will be awarded a prize!

Any registrant can log in and play the game, but only attendees can win. (Exhibitors are not eligible for prizes.)

  • The game is open to in-person attendees only.
  • You must have a compatible device running iOS 14+ or Android 10+ in order to play.
  • Participants must be respectful of other attendees. No discriminatory, violent, illegal, etc. content will be tolerated.

You can earn the Exhibit Hall Explorer badge by visiting each of the companies shown and scanning a QR code in their booth! Here's how to claim your points:

  1. Open the game and tap on the Exhibit Hall Explorer badge.
  2. Find the challenge for the company whose booth you're visiting and tap on it.
  3. Tap on "Scan QR Code" and take a picture of the booth's designated QR code.
  4. Alternatively, you can tap on "Enter Code Manually" to type in the text version of the code.
  5. All claim codes must be scanned/entered by the end of the the day on Saturday, Feb. 24, to earn your points.

The two attendees at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the game will win, so keep an eye on your stats! In the event of a tie, winners will be selected randomly from the pool of top point earners. We will notify winners via email a few days after the MVC concludes.

Taking Surveys

There are two ways you can complete session surveys:

  1. Open the session you'd like to rate, then scroll down to the bottom and tap on "Survey."
  2. Tap the Take Survey button on the app home screen to view all surveys available to you. Tap on each session you would like to rate, provide your comments, and submit!

Note: Session surveys open at their scheduled start time.

Surveys

Tap the Take Survey button on the app home screen to view and complete the MVC survey. The conference survey will be available beginning on Thursday at 12 p.m.
