The Midwest Veterinary Conference mobile app is a handy, fun and comprehensive guide for your MVC experience. Here\u2019s how to get the app and make the most out of this year\u2019s MVC!<\/h5><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Search for\/download the \u201cMidwest Veterinary Conference\u201d App for your device<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: You will need to log in to the app using the email address and password associated with your MVC registration.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Take the quick tutorial to see all the app has to offer.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Become familiar with the buttons at the bottom of your app to access your agenda, network\/chat with others, and see unread notifications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The full app menu can be opened by tapping the \u201cthree lines\u201d button at the top left of the app, or by swiping from the left side of the app to the right side.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: Set up Your Profile & Turn on Networking<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

From the full app menu (upper left button), tap \u201cEdit Profile\u201d to add a photo and update information to make yourself easier to be found and connect with others. Remember to tap \u201cSave\u201d to lock in your changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also turn on \u201cNetworking\u201d from the Settings menu to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Discover\/be discovered by other attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Send\/receive connection requests to\/from other attendees<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Chat with your connections\/contacts within the app<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Ask exhibitors and sponsors to contact you<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Complete challenges associated with the MVC Mobile App Game<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: Build and Manage Your Agenda<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Explore conference sessions by tapping the Agenda icon at the bottom of the app or \u201cSessions\u201d from within the full app menu (top left button).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(1) <\/strong>Tap a session to view full details including, speaker, location, session documents, surveys and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) <\/strong>If you selected sessions when you registered, those will populate in \u201cYour Agenda.\u201d Add more sessions to Your Agenda by tapping the calendar icon next to the session title\/description.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: Any changes you make to your schedule in the mobile app will be saved in your permanent registration record and be used to generate your CE certificate\/transcript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be sure to take the survey after every session you attend to praise speakers or tell us how to improve for next year!<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6: Track and manage your CE Credits and Certificates<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

(1)<\/strong> The MVC mobile app tracks your CE Credits and allows you to manage, access and receive your CE Certificate and\/or Transcript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2) <\/strong>Add sessions to Your Agenda by tapping the calendar icon with the session listing. Then be sure to click the blue \u201cParticipate\u201d button to confirm your attendance for tracking purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(3)<\/strong> Tap \u201cCE Schedule\u201d from the full app menu (top left button) to view sessions offering CE Credits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(4)<\/strong> Download your certificate any time by opening the full app menu (top left button) and tapping \u201cCE Certificates.\u201d Then select Certificate <\/strong>(overall hours for the event) or Transcript<\/strong> (list of each session and associated hours), and follow the prompts to have your document(s) sent to the email you used to register for MVC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(5)<\/strong> The certificate in your printed program may still be signed on-site at Attendee Assistance. Refer to your state\u2019s\/organization’s renewals requirements on what is accepted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Can you earn the title of \u201cPack Leader\u201d by the end of MVC? Compete against your fellow MVC attendees to complete challenges, earn points, badges and awards throughout the conference! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tap \u201cContest\u201d from the full app menu (top left button), then tap \u201cEnter Contest\u201d to enable the MVC game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complete the Challenges found in the Contest section to earn points, climb the leaderboard, earn badges and more. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Challenges include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Using Networking to connect with attendees: Tap \u201cNetwork\u201d and invite others to connect with you. More connections = more points<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Attending specific MVC sessions: Add sessions to Your Agenda, tap to open them as you\u2019re attending, and mark yourself as participating to get your points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Capturing QR codes in the Exhibitor Hall Scavenger Hunt: Find the exhibitors\/booths listed in the Challenges. Use the built-in QR Code scanner (upper right button in your app) to scan the code at the booth to earn points<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Be among the top two point scorers by the end of MVC and you\u2019ll earn a $250 gift card as a reward!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tap \u201cMap\u201d from the main app menu (upper left button) to access interactive maps of the Exhibit Hall, and programming at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and Hyatt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find specific session locations on maps by tapping \u201cLocation\u201d from within a session listing, or tap on a room on a map to see sessions that are held in that location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Find specific exhibitor booth locations by tapping the booth number listed with a specific exhibitor, or tapping a number on the exhibit hall map to see the exhibitor at that location.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
