The moment you've been waiting for is almost here! Next Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. EST, we'll kick off the first-ever virtual Midwest Veterinary Conference. 
As we put the finishing touches on the MVC Virtual Platform in preparation for its debut, we wanted to share some final reminders to help you prepare as well.

First things first: Check the tech.

It's boring but necessary, so let's get it out of the way now! We recommend you check your device and internet browser compatability over the next few days, so you don't hit any roadblocks on your way to your first session.

While you wait for Tuesday to roll around, we invite you to:
  • Review the educational program and pick out the sessions you want to watch live (and remember, you can catch any you miss on demand*).

  • Meet the expert speakers who wil be joining us on this virtual venture.
  • Browse the list of exhibitors (and get excited about all the raffles and discounts you'll score).
  • Check out the special events schedule (because you'll probably need a mental break at some point).
  • Visit our generous sponsors, without whom we could not host this premier educational event.
  • Confirm your state's CE requirements and find out how you'll be able get a certificate of attendance.
  • Invite your friends and colleagues! Even if they register after the conference begins, they'll still be able to gain access within 24 hours. 
*Session recordings will be posted within 48 hours of the live broadcast and will be available through April 20.
And finally, check your email on Tuesday morning.
The Virtual Platform will open on Tuesday, two hours prior to the first session at 9:30 a.m. EST. We'll send you another email when the site goes live and you can log in.
At that time, you will be able to sign in, take a look around, and...

  • Complete your attendee profile;
  • Bookmark the sessions you want to attend;
  • Download any supplemental handouts for your sessions; and
  • If there's any time left before sessions begin, take a quick peek in the Virtual Exhibit Hall.
During that time, if you encounter any technical difficulties, you can chat with our dedicated support team right from the platform.
Note: Please do not contact the OVMA office for tech support, as we will simply re-direct you to the Virtual Platform.
